Lemonade - refused to turn off Auto-Renew…
They refused to turn off the Auto-Renew feature on my policy which resulted in double-charging me and taking many hours and several days of my time to rectify!
Pet Insurance - Not very well

Trupanion - My police has been going up $20 to 30$ up a month every year!!
I've never had an issue with Trupanion coverage, but they for sure charge for it.
Lemonade - Rude, contradictory and wrong advisory on minimal claim
Rude, totally unsupportive, and impossible to contact. We have been with them 4 months, and first time we have had to make a Claim, it has been refused. I took advice over the phone, cancelled the policy, being promised a refund, and then take out a new one. In that time, the advice changed, and the claim refused. My partner and I both doctors, with one minor error on the policy holder details, and now refusing to support a simple administrational error. Do not use them, as they have no customer support, lie in the advice they give you over the phone, then refuse to act on their own advice and support, and now will not send a transcipt of the call confirming the advice that was given. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Fetch Pet - AVOID AT ALL COSTS – This Company Does Not Care About Your Pet
I’ve been with this company for over 4 years, paying premiums faithfully every month to ensure my dog was covered in case of health issues. Like many pet owners, I got insurance to help during emergencies—not to be punished for actually using it.
Dutch Pet Insurance - Vet was good, customer service is not
The vet was pretty great and diagnosed my pup quickly and was friendly enough. Ordered the med and flea meds (several hundred dollars) and UPS delivered it to the wrong house. I reached out to Dutch and they legitimately responded that we should wait 2 days and then they would escalate the matter. 1) the package will certainly be gone from someone’s porch in 2 days 2) my dog needs this medication asap, which is why we used this service.
Lemonade - This company is a scam
This company is a bunch of crooks. My wife put in three claims, over 700.00 worth. The first one they settled at approximately 110.00, the second one is in review for over a month now, with a bunch of mistakes on their part, still waiting for settlement and the third one they declined it for 212.00, with no explanation posted. While they continue to collect 93.56 a month for the last 6 months and continue to take this payment out of my account, they do these long reviews to make sure they get the maximum out of your account, before they decide two months later to settle or deny the claim. These trust pilot reviews are over inflated. Do yourself a favor and go to a more reputable company, with simple processing and honesty. They are doing fraud and we are having our attorney take a good look at this. They think they are slick but my attorney will pick them apart.
Lemonade - This company is a scam
This company is a scam. I’ve had insurance with them for two years and I had a lightning strike power surge that fried my laptop and they refused any coverage. Don’t get lured in by the inexpensive premiums, the coverage is a joke.

My cat has been covered under HP since 2019, and only now is the second time I've needed to file a claim for her.

Customer service is horrible as they want you to do their job for them. I send them the information they need and it's not good enough. I tell them THEY have to be the ones to call the vet to get the information I have already sent them and they refuse to do it. This is just 1 of the issues.
