Poor communication throughout claims process. Claims take a long time to settle. I’m shopping around for alternative pet insurance. Website has unreliable functionality. Claim will state to upload documents, but no button to click to upload.

Dutch Pet Insurance - No good
We signed up, had an appointment set and then it was canceled by the vet. They advised us in the message that we needed to cancel and set up a new appointment. There was no option to do so. We reached out to the company and they did nothing for us. We cancelled our plan and I will be disputing the charge with our credit card company. If the vet needed to cancel then they should have done what needed to be done to cancel it, the way they wanted us to do it was to show we canceled it when in fact it wasn't our doing. This makes me feel that the vet was trying to pull one over on us in some way. Will never use this company again and I will make sure to pass along to everyone I know that they are not a good, solid company.

Bull is a 95lb pitbull mix in a 2 story walk up across the st from the highway. IM his mon, an occupationl therpist who assess and rehabs upper extemity injury in people. The vet and I agrred on dx- lyme disease, treatment is 10mg/kg PO 2x a day for min 30 days plus a basic pain killer, rimadyl which is doggie tylenol. After our zoom consult and dx agreement the vet botched the Rx, with half the doxycycline advised for treatment and One chewable rymady -literally one pill...to be given every 12 hours... how id do that with only 1 - ask that idiot.

Do Not use Pawp. I got ripped off. I paid all of my premiums to date and was denied a simple cremation reimbursement. I submitted the invoice on time and then received a message that they needed the medical records. I submitted the medical records on time, per the email message I received. I got all green check marks on the app and took a screenshot showing the documents were successfully submitted. Then I received an email saying the claim was denied because it was not sent on time. Bad enough I lost my beloved Buddy who was 15 years old, and now I have to deal with Pawp denying a simple reimbursement claim for the cremation. I was told on the phone by a Pawp rep that there would not be any issues and there were.
Dutch Pet Insurance - Just go to your Vet instead! No refunds!
The vet by the name of An Khanh was short with us & not very helpful. I do not recommend them & will inform my club about Dutch.
