I have been highly disappointed with the lack of coverage that’s offered. For the monthly fees, you really don’t receive reimbursement for any claim. Also, before I joined there was no access to what the reimbursement amount was for the wellness shots. I finally was provided this list yesterday. Well, it fell very short from what my Vet charges. So between the deductible, only covering a set amount personally I don’t think it is worth the cost. I have always supported the ASPCA and what wonderful work they do, but their insurance coverage is not worth the money! I will be canceling my policies immediately!

I put in a claim about 2 months ago and have heard nothing. Wrote another note about it last week and got an automated message saying they were having technical difficulties. I think I chose the wrong pet insurance even though my Vet recommended them.
Paw Protect - Stay away from Paw Protect
They denied my claim because they just didn't want to pay out. They said my insurance didn't cover my pet surgery when it says that it does in the policy. Do not give them your business. I believe their good ratings online are paid for.

They didn't cover anything, even with deductible. There was no communication on claim denial or reason.

So far it’s been excellent A few minor hiccups but were corrected quickly and they are what you would expect for an insurance company. So far so good. Hope it continues. Update despite them covering the costs as an insurance should. They lied to me from the beginning. After my second year with them my insurance increased almost $60 per month. They said it would increase around $8. Their response was they had to catch up with the other insurance companies….thanks for lying to current clients. I was paying $80……now, I’m stuck with this price or have no coverage. They obviously don’t care about much but money. I also see other price gauging reviews as well….
ASPCA Pet Insurance - Horrible insurance
If you notice, all of the 1 star reviews are very similar to my review of this company’s “pre-existing injury” scam. They use it to cover almost every ailment and get away with covering your pet. This is a company that is supposed to love and cherish animals and look at what they are putting people through. Than they’re staff members laugh at you on the phone. They even commented on my last post saying they were interested in helping me and they still have done absolutely nothing. Please avoid this insurance if you love your pet.
Dutch Pet Insurance - Find another service or a local vet
I loved this service for the first year I had it. So convenient and quick. Now I am so so sorry I remained a customer. Shipping/order issues, poor communication, unsatisfactory customer service, and worst of all, their lackluster performance as a company has endangered my pet. Completely unacceptable from a Vet service.
Dutch Pet Insurance - HORRIBLE SERVICE
these people took my money and I booked them for an online zoom call with a vet named dr. Kristy Greene at 10am. I'm waiting and waiting and she messages me back to say they are having issues she is contacting customer support. I'm there waiting for an hour writing to her and she never responds only after an hour to lt me know that she had other appointments with other people, what a complete a.hole. I contacted customer service in the meantime and it says they will be online at 12:30pm like what kind of company is this? I signed up the night before and they never sent me an activation link I was waiting to book a vet. their entire system is messed up and a waste of m time and money. please just go to a vet this is a rip off.
Dutch Pet Insurance - $400 at the emergency vet later…
My cat had an eye infection. The vet I spoke to stopped replying to my messages even though I messaged her the minute it got worse. The medication delivery was then delayed even after I paid a $25 premium to overnight it. I had to take my cat to the emergency vet and ended up spending $400. Their customer service didn’t reply to me until TWO days after that ER trip. Their phone like is disconnected. This was a preventable emergency. They don’t ship medications out on weekends, they charge you to transfer the scripts to other pharmacies, their medications are more expensive than Chewy and their customer service doesn’t give a damn. We were in the pet ER for two hours while my cat meowed in pain. Don’t use it, just take your pet to the vet and save both of you some grief.
ASPCA Pet Insurance - She is a puppy
My pet is 7 months old and they are requesting a full year of vet information prior to considering my first claim. So far not going well at all.
