Pays very very low on preventive and puppy vaccinations

Won't sell me my pets rx drugs if I don't pay for continued unnecessary monthly vet consultantaions. My dog was prescibed ongoing meds they cut of medication subscriptions which I pay for seperate to the vet consultantaions which I paid for a month as that is all I needed. Seems pretty scummy to cut off my dogs meds and then make me pay for services I don't need. Seems like profit comes before the welfare of your pets at Dutch. Not a good way to practice veterinary medicine.

If you don’t have prior 2 years of vet paperwork don’t bother; they won’t take your claims. There’s also a waiting period, and anything pre-existing is not covered. You are better off taking the money you would potentially give them and putting it into a savings account.

It seems like good insurance. But I have reached out to customer service three times since 7/28 with no response or acknowledgment. Makes me nervous for when I actually have to submit a claim

I took my shitzoo for a bath today. I had been there before with no issues other than our dated equipment, but only $5 which is reasonable. I was the only one in line for bath station. I put my puppy in the tub and tried to adjust the water temperature for over 5 to 10 minutes which i learned later was not adjustable. I felt the water was too hot for my pup and she was very uncomfortable. I brought my own shampoo as the shampoo I used last time was so watered down it would not lather. The dryer was so ancient could not get my pup dry due to the thickness of her coat. In the meantime a couple came in with Two huge dogs. I was trying desperately to finish up cause comments were being made by the couple try to calm their big dogs. I doubt I had been there 20 minutes before a man who was an employee came in and very sternly said what's the problem? He continues to stare me down which made me very uncomfortable. I gathered my stuff and took my wet dog out to pay. The huge dogs waiting were growling and try to break free to get at my dog who was scared to death. I see why they call it muddy Paws, I would just as soon wash my dog in a mud puddle. I will not return. The girl employee was very nice and polite.

I followed all the rules. I submitted all the paperwork for my dogs emergency. They denied the claim. The foxtail in my dogs eye was not deemed an emergency. Even though Pawps own vet told me to get my dog to a vet as it was an emergency. Then I heard a bunch of other people had gone through this with PAWP. This site is a scam. Don’t get this insurance. Look elsewhere.

They’re a scam organization. There’s 0 customer service. I don’t mean that as in they aren’t friendly or kind it’s that you literally cannot get a hold of anyone when it comes to claims. You may get an email response from them days later. They hide unfair policy in fine print and unless you have a lawyer review your policy you will never receive a payout on any legitimate claim. They are not BBB accredited. That should be your hint. Cheap money grab and one can only hope the free market and hundreds of legitimate competitors put them out of business .

Signed up for Pet insurance with AKC in May of this year. Was supposed to get a free 30 days never happened filed a claim in July and they cancelled me on 8/8/2024. Horrible company
