When my policy cost doubled in 2 years I called to get a lower coverage. I never got a return phone call regarding the overpayment I had, which included a premium at both the higher and lower cost.
Figo Pet Insurance - does not pay your claims
I was filing my claims later than the 180 days and there were no opportunity to get reimbursed. Also they are super strict to what they reimburse, and for every month I paid policy premium it was a waist because at the end after 2 years I got no reimbursement of any of the services at the vet
ManyPets - Ridiculously High Renewal Rates and I've Never Even Used the Insurance
The policy was easy enough to set up. I got ManyPets for my dog when he was about 6 months old. My reason for the low star review is that my policy renewal just came in and my policy went up over 50%!. My dog is only 2 years old and I have NEVER even filed a claim with them. What exactly am I am paying for? I'm planning to change companies because of this. I feel like I'm being ripped off and and not even using the insurance
Dutch Pet Insurance - I tried to upgrade shipping all day…
I tried to upgrade shipping all day yesterday, at least five messages, because my dogs in a lot of pain. I didn't hear back until evening, to confirm shipping...no acknowledgement of my concern at all. By both separate people. The new pharmacy I called, couldn't get a hold of them to get the prescription. Dutch makes it impossible. So, they weren't reachable by me, the new vet, and did not upgrade my shipping as they advertised.
Try Doggo - Where is my order
It's been 26 day since I place my order on the 4/6. I received an email on the 10/6 stating my order was completed. I've sent 2 messages asking for a tracking number. No response. I just want to know where my order is that I paid for
Healthy Paws - Healthy Paws is my go-to for insurance
Healthy Paws is my go-to for pet insurance. I've used them for pet insurance for more than 10 years. Right now, I actually have 2 accounts with them because an account is limited to 3 pets and I now have 4. The KEY to success with Healthy Paws is: 1) Know exactly what your policy covers and what it doesn't, and 2) Provide full medical records on your pet. One of my dogs just had extensive knee surgery. I started the claims process early with records for the initial exam and X-rays. Healthy Paws actually reached out to the surgeon themselves and obtained any other records and explanations. I had provided entire health records from my regular vet as well. I think they were trying to find out if the knee issue was a preexisting condition (it wasn't). Some policies don't cover certain preexisting conditions, so make sure you know whether your policy covers them. My dog had surgery only 3 weeks ago and I was paid back 80% minus my annual deductible by direct deposit within 2 weeks. Sweet!
AKC Pet Insurance - AKC fabricated my dog’s vet’s records.
I filed a claim which was denied by your company due to fabricated claim that it was a pre-existing condition. Theo started having symptoms of allergies 2 wks ago when we took him and was given an allergy shot. When I called your office, the rep read to me the notes “from the vet” stating that Theo had allergy symptoms back in January (which conveniently was prior to the start or his insurance coverage). I called the vet and as I expected, they did not have any documentation of any allergies on the visit in 01/24 or any at all until 07/02/24 when he was seen for that problem.
Healthy Paws Pet Insurance - They are delaying my payments
I’ve paid premiums for 14 years. They have an issue with two invoices that I can’t get corrected by the health provider yet because they are on vacation. So every claim after that is backed up and they will not budge and settle them. My dog died and I’d like to cancel the policy but feel I need to wait so I have access to their system until this is settled. I’ve been told they will settle those claims by one representative then again that they cannot yet by another a couple of times. Each time they “correct” it they give themselves 10 more days to do so. I’m grieving on top of all.

We enrolled with Healthy Paws after significant research of its policies and of other pet insurance policies in 2020. We brought home 2 puppies and landed on Healthy Paws.
