Figo Pet Insurance - No Reponse
I submitted online a claim 4 days ago but there was no response from them. I went online into my account to check my claim status and it still just has the automated generated "in review" arrow ever since I uploaded the documents. However, my uploaded documents were in an unread status. It just felt there was no one there. I will have to call them tomorrow. Will give an update then.
Pawp - You can never cancel this
I did not receive any services from this company and they won't allow me to cancel the subscription following the free trial. They say they have no record of my account. Yet they are charging my credit card. And won't allow me to cancel the account because they say they have no record of it.
Pawp - They somehow obtained my payment…
They somehow obtained my payment information and are now refusing to issue the $99 refund for this unwanted and unnecessary membership. Until I get my refund, I will post this on as many sites as I possibly can, to warn any and everybody to stay away from this company.
Healthy Paws Pet Insurance - I should have left this company four…
I should have left this company four years ago when I had my first and only claim. The claim process was an absolute nightmare and took several weeks to get figured out. Over the last several years they have raised my rates from originally around $20 to nearly $50 a month. So when I recently switched to a new company, I did not notice that there was a two week waiting Period. So I went back to Healthy Paws on the day that I had asked them to cancel it to ask if I can keep it until my new one went into effect. They knew the 2 week wait period and should have reminded me of that instead of basically SEE YA and there is nothing we can do. So… They did absolutely nothing for me. They could care less if my dog had coverage or not for the next couple of weeks. The responses from whoever was sending emails to me, was a complete jerk. I finally had to tell them to stop emailing me back I would not recommend this company to anyone and I’m not really sure why they rank so high. Healthy paws… I’m so disappointed in your lack of caring and customer service.

Figo Pet Insurance - Figo doesn’t pay when you need them
Figo hides important policy information in fine print. Figo did not cover an important surgery my dog needed. They look for ways to get out of paying when pet owners need them most. I make sure to tell everyone I know how sleezy pet insurance is.
Pumpkin - Liars and cheats
Liars and cheats. They denied one of my claims after one of their agents told me that any treatment for trauma to a tooth was covered. Then, they refuse to refund me after I requested to cancel my policy. They LIED to me and told me I never requested to cancel because they ‘listened to the phone recording and didn’t hear that said’. Absolutely unbelievable. I remember 100% saying that I wanted my policy canceled because the dentals were the only reason I got the insurance.
Figo Pet Insurance - Claim issues
Had to jump through hoops to file a claim and it was only $75 wellness for teeth cleaning. I afraid to see should something big come up the hassle. I hope not.
Pawp - Refuses to refund $99 for a unwanted membership
I used an offer on T-Mobile Tuesdays for advise offered by Pawp and somehow ended up paying $99 dollars for a membership I don't want, will never use and they refuse to refund my money. I guess somewhere in the fine print it explained all that but who reads all that stuff. I guess that's the only way they can make their money by scamming customers.
Paw Protect - If I could rate them a 0 I would
If I could rate them a 0 I would. I pay $100 monthly for my puppy’s paw protect insurance, the most expensive option because I wanted to be assured he is protected as well as my finances. Our very first claim submitted was denied. Their reasoning was that the day I submitted the claim ($1800 vet bill) is that my dog had a “pre-existing condition” of vomiting. In his initial pet visit there was a note on his record that he vomited from eating too fast, completely unrelated to the medical emergency 18 days later involving vomiting. Despite my attempts to dispute the denial, including getting notes from my vet backing me up, they are continuing to deny my claim. I’m not getting $1300 of the roughly $1500 I should be getting back if this was covered and I’m wasting $100/month paying for his policy. I’m ending this policy immediately after only having it for one month. Don’t even bother.
