I had great experiences with my previous experiences with Figo. I adopted a new dog who had some diarrhea after I first adopted her which is so normal for a dog adjusting to a new environment. 6 months later I took her in for testing for a totally different intestinal disorder and feeling confident this claim would be covered I did several types of testing and my claim was denied as “preexisting condition” which was not the case. I’m seriously considering canceling my policy because of concern for future claims being denied.

Total rip off. They dont intend to ever reimburse anyone for anything. Stay away from these scammers!

They don't answer emails if you have a question. Didn't get a response until I told them I was cancelling, but they still ignored my original emails.

My experiences submitting claims is that they just look for ways to deny the claim. Generally no reason is given. Would recommend another company

I went ahead and got another pet insurance because I can’t even log on to mine here! I am paying for nothing ! Need help canceling. Can’t get into my log in but get charged every month

I give it 1 star because the Customer Support Specialist was very responsive. Otherwise, the experience has been poor. App has never worked, still doesn't. Hence, can't file a claim easily using the "app" or anywhere else online. Had to waste time searching for contact details and get two invoices submitted through an email address to CSS. Can't check status of claims because again the app doesn't work and there is no place to submit online.

I have been with this company since January 2019 . I had 2 dogs covered paying over $300 monthly. I never made a claim and never missed a payment before a debit card change in July. My payments were on auto pay. I called as soon as I discovered an issue less than 3 weeks from cancellation. They canceled my policy 30 days later with no reinstatement option. They couldn't care less about the fact that we have been long term clients with no claims and now my dogs are older and it will be hard to get reasonable coverage for them .They are supposed to care about pets , they are part of a non-profit , but they are really just concerned about their bottom line and no concern at all for the fact that my dogs are older now 12yrs and 10yrs and more likely to be having a claim in the later years of their life with absolutely no consideration for the fact that they have made thousands of dollars off of my dogs youth and health.The new quote is double the payment amount with 30-40 percent less coverage with 4x the deductible - Total RIP OFF from a company that has made thousands off of these two dogs with 0 claims for so many years. The reps got real rude and defensive when I let them know I wanted to escalate a complaint.They would not give me a viable method to file a formal complaint.He first gave a PO Box to mail a complaint. I asked for other options and whether somone could contact me . He sarcastically suggested BBB so I have complained there as well. Don't subscribe to Healthy paws. If you love your dogs, keep researching and get coverage with a company that loves pets too!!!
