This company is the biggest scam. Please if you are looking for insurance go anywhere else. Quite literally nothing is covered and you essentially pay out of pocket, you are better off not having insurance than being covered by Pumpkin. Further, their customer service is absolutely garbage, unhelpful and there are so many hidden loopholes. Please for your sake stay far away as possible.

If I had rated this service a year ago, I would have given it 5 stars. I had a dog wake me up in the middle of the night and then collapse. I contacted PAWP through the app and was on the camera chat. They wanted me to show the dog, I did, and was told to rush him to vet. Unfortunately, he died within a few minutes of arriving to the emergency vet. I turned in the notes and invoice and was reimbursed in about 3-4 days. I have been telling people what a great program this is. So now, let's move to recent experience.

My second claim. The first went fine and they sent checks. This time they tell me "the check is in the mail" and should take 7-10 days.....really? Very disappointed. We signed up for well care, they paid 80.00 for a 450.00 bill. 80.00 is 3 months of payment for Toby.

I wouldn't say I like waiting 15 days after the enrollment date for coverage to begin.

terrible, always finding ways around reimbursing you. don't care about the pets just their profits. every time it's always something

This is by far the WORST pet insurance plan that I have ever used. All notes and invoices were sent to the company yet they continued to deny. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

No correspondence when claim is received.

I received a promotional code through my Walmart Plus membership for Pawp. I THOUGHT I was signing up for that promotion via my mobile device, come to find out, it was a 3 day trial, not the promotion I was given through Walmart+. So I canceled the 3 day trial same day, and reached out to their support. They provided me with direction and a link to sign up, and instructed me to use my computer, not a mobile device. So when I went to complete the sign up with the promotional code, it was then prompting me to pay $99. So I reached back out and was told that I had already signed up and canceled a trial so I was not able to sign back up under a promotion. Definitely will not be using their services, as they clearly knew what I did was a honest mistake and misunderstanding.

Trickery with Marketing Messaging

I paid for wellness care. Submitted the bill and learned the coverage has an annual maximum of approximately the premium you pay
