Have an issue with your insurance?
Let everyone know!
Insurance companies are constantly reviewing us. Are we too old? Do we live in the wrong place? Is our credit score high enough? Well, now it's time to turn the tables. Do you charge too much? Will you pay my claim quickly? Is your coverage worse than it seems? We can review you too.
Wagmo - Once your dog gets a condition they won’t renew
I had my senior dog on wagmo for years with no claims filed. When we got our new puppy we enrolled her on wagmo as soon as we got her. When the puppy turned one we discovered she had luxating patella on both legs 😕. We were recommended to do surgery one leg first as she was having lameness everyday several times a da and it might all resolve with one leg only. Thankfully we had wagmo insurance and they reimbursed for surgery on the one leg. Unfortunately, they decided at the end of this year not to renew our insurance due to their risk increasing because of our puppy’s condition. They did not renew the puppy’s or my senior dog (which I have never filed a claim for in years that I’ve had the insurance). This has been very disappointing since now my puppy has a preexisting condition and even though I got her insurance when we first got her now she won’t be insured on her knees when we get new insurance. Not only that, I have to find a new insurance for our senior dog. Keep in mind that once your dog has a condition they can decide not to renew.
Pawp - Misleading
Pawp markets itself as an online veterinary clinic which it is un equivocally NOT.
Get Odie - They denied a claim for an ear…
They denied a claim for an ear infection because they said there was insufficient paperwork despite my emailing and attaching everything required. Their customer service is non-existent; it is impossible to speak to anyone, and it took them three months to deny my claim. I paid for the year in full, and I have requested a cancellation of my policy and a refund of the seven remaining months I have paid for. I wonder how long that will take?
ASPCA Pet Insurance - The money that ASPCA gets in donations…
The money that ASPCA gets in donations 46% of that money goes to payroll for the CEO and the employees the CEO makes over $1 million dollars a year with several employees making over $100,000 a year not much of the money reaches any animals it's all going in the pockets of greedy people
Go Pet Plan - Do not choose Petplan
Do not choose Petplan. My dog is only 4 years old, i have no claims and my insurance per month has gone from £50 -to £63 in the course of 12 months and now i have been told it will jump to £78 per month in Jan. What an absolute rip off. I have not made any claim since taking this cover out over 4 years ago. I have no idea how they can justify these prices. I have now cancelled! Stop being so greedy Pet Plan.
Pumpkin - Everything thing is a preexisting…
Everything thing is a preexisting condition. Your denial just says because of a preexisting condition. I then have to ask for an explanation for the determination. The explanation is weak at best.
Pet Secure - Disappointed with Fine Print
Overall, Petsecure Insurance provides the coverage you'd expect, especially for routine and emergency care. However, there are some important limitations to be aware of. One significant issue is the coverage for medical devices, which is capped at a few hundred dollars. This blanket approach does not consider the varying costs of different devices for different pets. Additionally, Petsecure does not cover exchange rates for treatments obtained in other countries.
Pumpkin - Submitted a claim and no updates provided
Submitted a claim and there has been no update; even if not approved I would expect at least some form of update.

ASPCA Pet Insurance - Don’t cover anything, won’t cancel when you request
They will charge you after you cancel!!!! Be careful!!! I have requested twice now for cancellation and have been charged twice now. On top of the fact they literally don’t cover anything. I’ve submitted multiple claims that according to the coverage should’ve at least had some sort of reimbursement. When I got absolutely nothing for it.
