Have an issue with your insurance?
Let everyone know!
Insurance companies are constantly reviewing us. Are we too old? Do we live in the wrong place? Is our credit score high enough? Well, now it's time to turn the tables. Do you charge too much? Will you pay my claim quickly? Is your coverage worse than it seems? We can review you too.
Figo Pet Insurance - It is a terrible service
It is a terrible service, first I call and ask for pre-approval for an operation with a budget of $950, they said yea everything is ok after I was with FIGO 3 years for the insurance that I never used, they approve the operation and then I make the claim and they tell me that my policy was renewed automatically and they can’t cover the cost of the operation because the terms had been changed in the new policy, obviously all this changed to your convenience. This service is useless, it is terrible they never telling me nothin about the change, they just decided change this year.
Wagmo - THE WORST
THE WORST! I paid months worth of premiums for two dogs. I sent in a Claims for both of my dogs and it took almost 3 months to have the claims “reviewed”. After multiple emails asking what was happening I finally got a denial. But I had been paying large premiums every month for coverage while they made me wait. I realized this was a scam they play. As a result of my legitimate claims being denied there was no sense going forward with the plan because every other claim would be considered an “existing condition”! Even if it had nothing to do with what they previously denied! I spoke to my vet about this and she said she had heard this about Wagmo from other patients. Save your money. This insurance is an absolute scam.
Pawp - Will reject any claims
My dog suddenly started defecating a substantial amount of blood in his stool, had abdominal distension and showed severe discomfort when pressure was applied to his abdomen. I didn’t schedule a meeting with Pawp as I was obviously very concerned and ran him to the vet immediately. According to them that’s “not a life-threatening emergency”.
Go Pet Plan - Do not use Petplan
Petplan a very poor company I been paying my insurance for about six years and my cat needed work on her teeth so I phone them and Petplan said all is good we will pay then I get a text NOT A PHONE CALL saying your case is closed and we will not pay due to a vet visit two years ago
Healthy Paws - Not worth it
I do not recommend this pet insurance, I got it cause it has great reviews but now I think the company probably writes them, I’m gonna save my time writing my bad experience but if you’re planning on getting it please read the bad reviews first, I wish I would’ve.
Healthy Paws Pet Insurance - Needs work
This company is really great - at avoiding paying for claims by wearing you down until you finally give up. Trying to explain to a brick wall how the word “urine” on a claim does not mean it is related to a history of urinary tract health has been among the most painful experiences of my life, and my cat is still very, very sick. Not, however, due to a pre-existing condition. But yeah, sure, let me do all the leg work to prove it is unrelated, since you can’t read and have no idea how labs work. Convenient for a (pet) health insurance company. A quick rundown - both humans and pets have a couple of commonly tested fluids, specifically blood, saliva, and urine. Urinalysis is not only completed to evaluate urinary tract health. I really just want to shout “DUH” at the morons processing these claims, and even more at the people writing their guidelines and training them. I pay money to this company with the idea that it will REDUCE stress in the event of horrible illness or accident for one of my pets, but time and again it only INCREASES the stress. I have paid far more in premiums than I will ever get back, which is obviously their goal, but the years they have taken off my life are more than they are allowed to collect. You can’t be there for your pet if the insurance company drives you off a cliff. Don’t do it.
ManyPets - Criminal
Be weary. Your premium will increase more than 200% when your pet becomes a certain age and will continue to dramatically increase every year till they can price you out when your dog is of an age where something can happen to your animal.
Healthy Paws - We are so happy we had Healthy Paws Pet…
We are so happy we had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance.. It was a horrific experience which started on Sept 2nd as we (Elena my wife and I) were just getting ready to walk with Baron to the BBQ just 4 houses down at the end of the block. As you can imagine this is Baron's favorite place to go. He's a celebrity here in La Mesa. Black Shepherds as big and beautiful are not common here. As Elena was putting on his vest and leash, I went to open the walk-in gate. Elena yelled "He Can't Get Up !" I tried to lift him and that is when Elena noticed his eyes shaking back and forth. We thought he was having a stroke. Labor Day Weekend. All the pet clinics were closed, and the local Pet Emergency Care was filled to capacity. We had to drive to a Pet ER 25 minutes away. From there it was 6 days of Up and Down and Up again news. Finally after staying my his side for 5-8 hours a day we moved him to a Specialty Hospital for overnight observation and treatment. It was on the 8th day we finally brought Baron home and were prepared to nurse him back to health.

Healthy Paws - We had quite the whirlwind of a week…
We had quite the whirlwind of a week with our 4-year-old French Bulldog. She had some respiratory issues early on and then some gastro issues later, which required surgery and various procedures. Could not be happier with Healthy Paws; they have been great and made a very difficult situation a little bit easier to manage. Customer service, the ease of the claims process, and continued follow ups on our pet's well-being are above and beyond what we would have expected when we first got pet insurance. Have and will continue to recommend to others.
